Dr. Kenneth Babe is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. After completing his residency training at the Medical Center of Delaware, he returned to Nashville and completed his Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Babe spent 25 years on the Vanderbilt faculty in the Allergy Section including serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as supervising nurse practitioners at the Vanderbilt VASAP clinic.

Dr. Babe has practiced as an allergist in Sumner and Wilson Counties since 1997 including private practice and the Vanderbilt VASAP clinic. He is board certified in Allergy and Immunology (pediatric and adult patients) and a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Babe has published medical articles and textbook chapters.

A Pennsylvania native, Dr. Babe is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Penn State University where he was a member of the Penn State University Marching Blue Band and Basketball Band. When not caring for his patients, Dr. Babe enjoys spending time with his wife of 22 years, Mary, and their four children. They are actively involved in their local church. Dr. Babe is a merit badge counselor and committee member with his local Boy Scout troop. He is a Brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow. Dr. Babe also holds an Amateur Extra Ham Radio license. His favorite place to be is on his Sumner County farm doing farm work.
